The Biblical text for worship on Sunday, September 25, 2011 was Philippians 3:20: “But we are a colony of heaven…” The surprise was that Outdoor Resorts of Gatlinburg recognized Bill and Cindy for 30 years of ministry with SMRM and with ORG! Together, we celebrated being a “colony of heaven”!
Larry and Joann Swink left us speechless with a surprise appearance!
The meal together lasted an hour –always a good mark of a healthy church in fellowship with good food and joyful conversation!
But we are a colony of heaven: Living as if. In the now and the not yet. Intentionally different. In love with God, with each other, and for others.
