PREPARING OUR HANDS

Who may ascend the hill of the Lord?

Who may stand in his holy place?

He who has clean hands and a pure heart…

JOINING OUR HANDS

Your hands made me and formed me;

Give me understanding to learn your commands.

(Wonderful for the Church coming together

from many different directions and traditions –snowboard, skis, telemark, etc – Baptists, Catholic, Evangelical, etc)

CLAPPING OUR HANDS

Clap your hands, all you nations;

Shout to God with cries of joy.

How awesome is the Lord Most High,

The great King over all the earth!

Psalm 47:1-2

(Exciting praise)

OPENING OUR HANDS

Hear my cry for mercy, as I call to you for help,

as I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place.

Psalm 28:2

(Praying deeply with open hands and hearts)

LIFTING OUR HANDS

I lift up my hands to your commands which I love,

And I meditate on your decrees.

Psalm 119:48

(Relying on God)

ESTABLISHING THE WORK

OF OUR HANDS

Yes, establish the work of our hands.”

Psalm 90: 17

(Finding our purpose in God’s will)

GIVING OUR HANDS

Into your hands I commit my spirit;

Redeem me, O Lord, the God of truth.

TRUSTING GOD’S HAND

…though he stumble, he will not fall,

for the Lord upholds him with his hand.
